With purchase of Hall-A-Days Trip of a Lifetime Lottery Ticket

1. There will be a total of 6 trips drawn, 2 of which will be valued at no more than $3000.00 and drawn in the ‘early bird’ draw on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 4:00 PM SK time at the Town of Rocanville Office. The remaining 4 trips, 2 of which are valued at no more than $5000.00 and 2 of which are valued at no more than $12,000.00 will be drawn on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 PM SK time at the Rocanville Curling Club.
2. Ticket price is 1 for $50.00 or 3 for $100.00.
3. There will be a maximum of 4500 tickets sold. 600 tickets at 1 for $50.00 and 3900 tickets at 3 for $100.00
4. Tickets will go on sale from January 11, 2016 until 11:00 PM SK time, April 22, 2016.
5. In addition to the trip prizes, 50/50 tickets will be sold for $10.00 each. Maximum prize value for the 50/50 will be $49,500.00 if all 9900 tickets are sold. If not, prize value will be exactly ½ of the total of the 50/50 ticket sale revenue.
6. You must purchase a ticket/s for the trip to be eligible to purchase 50/50 tickets.
7. The 50/50 draw will immediately follow the draw for the trips on April 23, 2016.
8. Ticket sales for entry into the ‘early bird’ draw must be purchased prior to 4:00 PM SK time, Thursday March 30, 2016. All ticket sales will conclude at 11:00 PM SK time, April 22, 2016.
9. All winning tickets will be returned to the draw drum where they will have an equal chance at the remaining prizes.
10. The winning ticket holders will be notified by telephone no later than 4:00 PM SK time the day following the draw. April 2, 2016 for the ‘early bird’ draw and April 24, 2016 for the trips and 50/50 draws.
11. An example of the trips and their value from our sponsoring travel agents will be listed on all advertising for this lottery.
12. All trips must be taken within 1 year of the draw date. Extensions on this date will be at the discretion of the
sponsoring travel agency and subject to availability.
13. Arrangements for any changes to the trip will be the responsibility of the ticket holder and the sponsoring travel agency.
14. The value of the trips listed will be up to a maximum of $3000.00, $5000.00 and $12,000.00. At time of booking, if the trips value comes in at less than the tickets maximum value there will be NO refund to the ticket holder for the difference.
15. Any changes by the ticket holder that go above the maximum stated value will be the sole responsibility of the ticket holder.
16. Trips are non-transferable and cannot be sold or gifted to another party by the ticket holder. Application in writing to the Rocanville Hall Committee explaining a valid reason for waiving this rule will be adjudicated on an individual basis by the committee. If permission to transfer or gift the trip is allowed, the sponsoring travel agency may have restrictions of their own in regards to travel dates, trip description and prices.
17. All trips are subject to availability for dates chosen by the ticket holder.
18. Changes in price or trip description will not be the responsibility of the Rocanville Hall committee or the sponsoring travel agencies as these have been quoted in good faith in November of 2015 and may not be as described by booking date.
19. If the winning ticket holder chooses to take a cash value instead of the trip, that cash value will be 75% of the
maximum value of the ticket won.
20. Members of the Rocanville Hall Board Committee and their families have equal opportunity at winning prizes through the purchase of tickets at listed prices.
21. The winner of the 50/50 will receive 50% of sales of 50/50 ticket revenue in the form of a certified cheque.
22. All changes, disputes or discrepancies will be settled by the Rocanville Hall Board Committee in accordance with the rules set out for this lottery within this document and in accordance with the rules and regulations set out by Saskatchewan Gaming and Liquor that apply to our licence.
